Melissa Freishtat
Medical Assistant

Melissa Freishtat is a Medical Assistant at Albemarle Dermatology Associates. Her responsibilities include assisting our physicians in patient skin exams and surgery appointments.

Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Shenandoah University. In the last five years, she has worked as a medical assistant and received her certification as a Dermatology Tech.  Her favorite part of the job is engaging with patients and providing exceptional care to them during a time that may be stressful. Melissa also loves Interacting with patients to learn more about their life.

Outside of her profession, Melissa prioritizes her family and loves to spend all of her time with her husband, one year old daughter, and two dogs.
