Medical Assistant, Signature Medical Spa
The Role
Clinical assisting for Nurses, Aestheticians, Technicians, and/or Dermatologists
Provide warm, friendly, discreet, and efficient service to clients and staff
Prepare equipment including lasers, goggles, devices, tables, and clean-up
Clinical photography using iPads
Review and secure clients’ informed consent for treatments
Medical chart documentation/scribing
Review clients’ post-procedural education
Follow-up phone calls or emails as directed by the Provider
Restock treatment rooms, retail shelves, brochures
Provide knowledge about our skin care products and medical spa services
Work 33-40 hours per week, typically M-F between 8 AM and 6 PM
Work up to six Saturdays per year 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM in lieu of a weekday
Profile of an ideal candidate
Desire to make the workplace and clients’ experience excellent
Positive, professional, and able to adhere to confidentiality laws
Detail-oriented
Proficient with English, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and phones
Strong work ethic, team-oriented
Takes initiative and is a problem-solver
Organized and efficient
Interest in dermatology and/or the beauty/wellness fields
Professional attire and appearance (scrubs)
Minimum two years of professional career experience
Some college is preferred
This position includes benefits such as healthcare insurance, two weeks paid time off in the first year, 8.5 days of paid holidays, matching 401(k), and free Botox after 6 months.
